Dr. Gregg Pusateri is the founder of the eCenter for Hope and Vision, Corp. and serves as its Executive Director. He is also currently the Director of Optometry and Low Vision Services at Lac Vieux Desert Health Center in Watersmeet, Michigan (an Indian Health Service organization). His practice specializes in Low Vision Rehabilitation with an emphasis on counseling and technology. He is both a national and international speaker on low vision accessible technology.
He completed his doctorate of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, where he served as both a clinical instructor and as adjunct faculty. Gregg received his Master of Divinity degree from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and went on to lead the Alto Reformed Church in Waupun, WI as its Senior Pastor for 9 years. Working for Spectrios Institute for Low Vision, in Wheaton, Illinois, he supervised the Residents in Low Vision Rehabilitation and managed the fourth year Externship program. He was also the Research Coordinator, and acted as the liaison between Spectrios Institute for Low Vision and other healthcare organizations. He is a regular seminar and Continuing Education presenter, a motivational speaker and provides counseling and technology training to people in need.
Dr. Pusateri currently experiences progressive vision loss and has used smart phones, tablet computers and smart devices extensively to improve the quality of his life and that of others. He educates patients on their specific condition and helps them understand how using current technology can enrich their lives. This knowledge and training allows them the opportunity to live more fully with their limited vision.

Gregg’s theological degree reinforces his ability to be compassionate so he can offer people hope when they feel that none exists. His teaching and research background allow him to access the latest diagnostic technology and the newest prescriptive devices for treating vision loss. Dr. Pusateri’s mission is to offer all of his resources and knowledge to people struggling with life adversities and provide them with the opportunity to lead more hope-filled, productive, and independent lives.
